Our weekly visit to the Davidson Farmer's Market gave us an opportunity to try a frozen handmade pizza crust from the folks at Gluten-Free Italian.
It was yummy stuff and how convenient!
Just take it out of the freezer, let it thaw a bit, and top with your favorite toppings before popping it in the oven.
Our little CD taste tester said it was as good as my home made pizza crust.
We haven't tried their pasta yet, but that's a definate future purchase because we really miss good pasta.
Check them out and give them a try...
Did you know?
Many people say the pizza originated from Mediterranean Flatbreads or Chinese Green Onion Pancakes.
But the beloved crusts of modern day originated from the preferred food of the poor people of Naples, Italy in the 18th century.
That means pizza is about 300 years old!
